CEO
Tax Adviser, Auditor. Specialising in tax planning, international corporate structures and auditing.
As tax adviser, auditor and managing director of Wolfgang Dittrich GmbH, I have been advising mid-sized companies on all tax and business matters for over 30 years.
As a specialist in international tax law and in customs and excise duties, I am particularly at home in complex, cross-border corporate structures. I help you exploit tax opportunities, structure international arrangements efficiently and avoid double taxation.
For me, tax minimisation is not the only goal: corporate structures must also make sound commercial sense, be sustainable and be workable in practice. I see myself as a sparring partner for management and support business decisions with clear, well-founded and solution-focused advice.
I see tax advice and auditing as active, forward-looking and entrepreneurially driven participation in business decisions. My aim is not merely to react, but to identify planning options at an early stage and to implement them together with you.
I place particular importance on personal, individual advice and a long-term, trust-based working relationship. Creative solutions, professionalism and a deep understanding of business contexts are at the heart of my work.
Clear communication, reliability and a high standard of quality are matters of course for me. This produces robust decision-making foundations that give you confidence whilst opening up business opportunities.

Changing your tax adviser? Here is how easy it isAs a new client we begin with an initial consultation, which can take place by telephone, via video conference on Teams or Zoom, or in person at our office. We clarify your individual requirements, discuss the scope of services and explain our digital working methods.
We then exchange the necessary powers of attorney and conclude the engagement agreement, which can also be signed digitally if required. If you are currently with another tax adviser, our page Change your consultant explains how straightforward the transition is.
In 90% of cases we prepare bookkeeping via the digital platform DATEV Unternehmen Online. Income tax returns are also handled using the online solution "Meine Steuern". Meetings can take place flexibly by telephone, video or in person.
From the outset we ensure deadlines are met, response times are prompt and communication is clear - this guarantees a transparent, digital and at the same time personal working relationship.
Answers to the most important questions about my areas of advice.
Your question is not listed? Contact meTax optimisation starts with a thorough analysis of your overall situation. We review your income streams, shareholdings and international connections, and identify planning options that reduce your overall tax burden within the framework of the applicable rules.
A holding structure can offer tax advantages in connection with profit distributions, disposals and succession planning. Whether it is worthwhile in your case depends on your corporate structure, your objectives and the overall circumstances. In a personal consultation we analyse the options for you.
International structures require careful tax planning to avoid double taxation and make use of available planning opportunities. We review the application of double taxation treaties, transfer pricing and the optimal structuring of your international activities.
In a due diligence review we systematically examine the tax risks and opportunities of the target company. This includes analysing tax returns, open tax audits, tax provisions and potential liability risks, providing you with a well-founded basis for your decision.
The tax structuring of property investments depends on many factors - from the legal form and financing to the planned holding period. Together we develop a structure that minimises your tax burden whilst making sound commercial sense.
A tax audit need not be a cause for concern. We guide you through the entire process, prepare all documentation, are present during the audit and negotiate with the auditor. Thanks to our ongoing advisory work, your records are generally already in audit-ready condition.
Business succession is complex from a tax perspective and should be planned well in advance. We review allowances, reliefs and planning options for the transfer - whether within the family, to employees or to external buyers. Cross-border elements add further considerations to be taken into account.
Deadline management is one of our most important principles. We monitor all relevant filing deadlines for tax returns, advance returns and assessments, and inform you in good time whenever we need documents or decisions from you.
